About Suzanne
Suzanne McNamee was born in Northeastern Ohio, 
where she began writing poetry in grade school. Her study of English Literature in high school and college fed her passion, but it was not until the mid-1990’s that she developed her current fascination with rhymed couplets.
Her friends have heard her joke that her writings became the only gifts she had to share when she had no money to spend. Her poetry is not only written to honor the individual about whom she writes, but, whenever possible, is meant to make the reader smile.
Suzanne currently resides in Sacramento, California with her son Adrian, a cat, two turtles, two bearded dragons, and an iguana.
